WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles)

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV) enable riders with mobility challenges to request rides that are able to accommodate their transportation needs.  By supporting WAV technology Frist Transit is able to increase reliable transportation options for disabled communities. First Transit supports WAV technologies by:

  • Our partnerships with TNC providers offers on-demand WAV services
  • Providing wheelchair ramps and safety restraints in all fixed route vehicles
  • Offering paratransit Dial-a-Ride and shuttle services

Services

The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
